Music is a particular strength at St Lawrence. We are fortunate that several of our teachers are specialist music teachers and each class has the opportunity to sing, develop rhythm using percussion instruments, listen and compose.

Children have the opportunity to learn violin, clarinet, piano and flute from visiting peripatetic musicians. And all children who learn a musical instrument are able to play in our flourishing school orchestra. We also have a school choir. Performance is an important part of the music curriculum and all our children are encouraged to participate in regular school productions.
